Robin Brouillette attended Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology prior to opening the very hip Stanley boutique on New York’s lower east side, stocking predominantly her own designs.
Designing and producing her collections in New York for the last ten years, more recently, she has explored the markets of Morocco, Central America and India. The cultures of these diverse places are now seen and felt in her designs more than ever. Robin currently creates much of her collection in Bombay where she spent several months working with highly skilled artisans creating her hand embroidered pieces.
The fine details of the garments consistently express gracious, feminine influences. Her collections are mainly created in the finest silk, are richly textured, and through varied beautiful colours are reminiscent of her love of the ocean and her passion for travel.
